A Campus Built for Discovery
Our campus offers 6,800 square feet of indoor learning space across 2 buildings with 7 classrooms, plus 7,000 square feet of outdoor space. This space gives our students room to think, create, experiment, and grow, and gives the school room to grow for the long term.
We are creating specialized learning environments that match the intensity and curiosity of our students: a dedicated Humanities Room for deep reading, discussion, and writing; a Science Lab/Maker Space where students can build, test, and iterate on their ideas; and the Tradewinds Center for Advanced Education, a flexible space for enrichment programs, guest lectures, family movie nights, and community events.

A Legacy of Learning
This campus has a long history as an educational space. Previously home to Epiphany School and Cole Academy, the buildings have housed learning communities for decades. Tradewinds builds on that educational legacy while creating something fundamentally different—a school designed specifically for gifted learners.

Designing the Physical Experience
We are renovating this campus to create a physical experience that is as special as the educational one. Gifted learners are intensely sensitive to their environments—they notice details, they crave order and beauty, they need spaces that reflect the care we put into their learning.
Flexible furniture, dedicated spaces for collaboration and quiet work. A layout that respects the rhythms of deep focus and active exploration. A school that feels like a place where serious exploration happens.
The Tradewinds Center for Advanced Education will serve as a hub for the broader community—a place where families can gather for movie nights, where guest speakers can share their expertise, and where students can engage with ideas beyond the standard curriculum. This is a school that extends beyond school hours, because learning doesn't stop at 3pm.

The Start of Something New in Kaimukī
We chose Kaimukī because we wanted a real neighborhood—not a corporate office park or shared coworking space. We're excited to put down roots here and build something that lasts.
